Dave Clark is having a bit of a red letter season, earlier in the year he reported a number of specimen fish and now he has beaten his Barbel personal best.

Fishing at Fittleworth and just as he was thinking of packing up, his single boilie bait was taken by this beauty which weighed in at 14lb 1oz a new personal best for Dave.

Another couple of members were on hand to witness the weighing and the safe return of the specimen.

Although Dave is enjoying his fishing he reckons that too much time on the stick float has not done his elbow any good!
