Match Report

This match was the second leg of Pibworth trophy and was held on the Hurston Middle Lake on an overcast night. In fact in rained for a short period of time but at least it was warm.The weed on Middle Lake has come back again this year but there were still enough fishable swims for the anglers who turned up to fish.

In first place fishing at the Match Lake end of the lake was Steve Pentecost who used a feeder to catch one bream and four carp along with fishing a waggler to catch rudd. He weighed in 19-4-0 to easily win the match.

Keith Hughes was second with a carp plus rudd weighing 4-8-0.

Colin Bridger fished the feeder and caught one carp weighing 3-14-8 to take third place. He would have been second but lost a bream and a carp.

After two legs of the Pibworth Trophy Keith Hughes leads with 19 points from Colin Bridger with 17 points
