Match Report

This match was the final leg of the Pibworth series and was held at the Granary. It was a grey windy evening with occasional rain. Again the carp turned up and several were lost in the weed that has grown up this year.

In first place was Keith Hughes, fishing the first peg on the golf course bank, who used meat or paste on the pole to catch 27-10-0 of carp.

Second place was taken by Phil Tubb, fishing next to Keith. He used paste on the pole to catch 19-1-0 of carp.

Runners up spot went to Phil

Mike Kitchener was fishing on the other bank and was on the peg opposite the first island and used meat and pellets to catch 16-9-0 of carp

After the four legs of the Pibworth series Mike Kitchener was the convincing winner with 37 points from Mick Greenway with 31 points.
