Venues Report
We heard a couple of weeks ago from an angler who had a very good session on Petworth Park with 12 Bream weighing between 3½lb and 6lb and now we have heard of another good bag from Mike Kitchener.
Mike decided to celebrate his birthday with a session on the park and as well as some good bream he also had a club record tench at 5lb 9oz. Interestingly the previous record came almost exactly a year ago so it seems as if May is obviously the month to fish at Petworth Park if you are looking for the better tench.
Mike is pictured here holding his new record tench, he had another of 4lb 6oz as well as a number of bream.
