Despite having fished many of the country’s top Barbel rivers and catching numerous Barbel it wasn’t until Barry Stanton landed this fish from the Rother at Coultershaw that he achieved his ambition of a double. A delighted Barry is pictured with his 12lb 4oz PB Barbel, and to top it off he had another of 11lb 6oz an hour later.
