Colin Bridger landed this superb specimen Rother Barbel of 15lb 3oz in a recent session when the weather was appalling with heavy rain for most of the day, the river was also well up and coloured.

Colin had one of 7lb earlier in the day and then moved up stream to a swim where he had lost a big one a couple of weeks before.

Both fish took a 22mm salmon pellet on a grinner lasso to a size 8 hook, and 12lb line.
