Young Drew Allan has done it again: all on his own this time! This Chub just short of 4lb was caught whilst roving on Shopham Up with meat on a little link leger.

His method, against Dad Alastair’s direction, is to hold the rod and feel for bites while gently ‘tweaking’ the bait around (more ‘nudged meat’ than rolling meat). A method that dad Alastair has now adopted himself.
