After a very prolonged spell of clear low conditions on the Rother Mike Kitchener felt confident that with the increased flow and bit of colour following the recent rain the rivers specimens would be willing to feed. Apart from this 10lb 4oz Barbel, Mike also had a chub of 4lb 8oz on the leger as well as several dace and some huge Minnows on the float.
