Although he has had some good Chub and other fish it has been a frustrating start to the season for Rother Bailiff Mike Kitchener as far as Barbel are concerned. But after trying his hardest he finally got his first one of the season.

At 11lb 7oz it was Mike’s second biggest from the Rother and put up a terrific fight before he finally netted it.
