Rick Simmonds landed this pristine Rother Barbel on Sat 23 June 2007. It weighed in at 13lbs 2oz and was described by Rick, who has been an angler most of his life, as ‘the most stunning fish I have ever caught’. He caught the fish at 3 pm on his first cast of the day, the successful bait was a hair rigged boilie.
