Steve Warner has spent the last couple of seasons in a quest for one of the specimen Barbel that inhabit the River Arun.

His perseverance was rewarded when he slipped the net under this beauty of 17lb 3oz.

Steve has had Roach to 2lb 14oz from the Arun whilst trying to get one of the elusive Barbel so he wasn’t complaining and certainly isn’t now!
