Beware Tackle Thieves Are Active In Our Area

Anglers – please be vigilant. One of our members has recently had a Shakespeare tackle bag and chair stolen from his car. The bag contained two TFG classic centre pin reels with line guards fitted and a Drennan Series 7 9-40 feeder reel along with small tackle boxes with various bits of terminal tackle including a lot of deception hooks. If you happen to be offered any of these under suspicious circumstances could you let the appropriate authorities know. These were taken overnight from the Bognor area so if you are going for an early morning session please resist the temptation to pack your car the night before. We would also suggest that you consider using a security product such as SmartWater to protect your valuable tackle and equipment.
