The next Chris Humphry Memorial Fish-in will be held on Sunday 29 September 2019 at Coultershaw this will be the thirteenth to be held in memory of keen local barbel angler Chris Humphry since the first one took place in July 2011.
As usual we’ll be meeting by the first stile at Coultershaw so please be there by noon for the draw. After the walk-off, fishing will start at 12.30 and carry on until 7.30 pm, when we’ll meet up again by the cattle drink for refreshments and to find out who, if anyone, will be going home with the trophy at the end of the day!
So far these events have raised well over a thousand pounds for charities chosen by the participants and Lynnette Humphry, who will be joining us once again to present the trophy to the angler who catches the biggest barbel on the day, should more than one be caught!
If you haven’t attended before, why not join us? Even if you don’t catch, you’ll have the opportunity to meet up with other members, chat to fellow barbel enthusiasts, and talk about fishing in general or anything else that takes your fancy.
Many thanks to Lynnette for her continued support since the inception of this worthy event. If you’d like to attend or want to know more, please contact Peter Foster on 07711 230128 or by email HERE.
