Coultershaw Riffles

It has come to our notice that someone has created a new swim in the ‘Riffles’ section on the Rother at Coultershaw. This is strictly against our rules which are clearly defined in the Members Handbook. This section has a limited number of approved swims which are clearly marked – these are the only places where fishing is permitted in this section.

Apart from the disturbance to the natural habitat which we are trying to protect, such thoughtless action could potentially put our Lease with the Landowner in jeopardy.
