Match Report

Stanbridge View is one of our regular away venues and we are always assured a good welcome and a good days fishing.

Mick Greenway was drawn on the favoured peg 20, this peg has produced the winning weight for more than one angler from the club. Avoiding the temptation of inside the bush to the left, Mick spent most of the match on two lines slightly to his left and right and about 5 – 6 metres out and fished with paste for his 42lb 2oz to win the match.

I don’t know how he does it but Cody on Peg 3 was into his first fish before most of us had finished with our initial feed! He went on to put together a catch of 37lb 10oz for second place.

Gary (frogman) Collins was drawn on Peg 14 and caught most of his fish on the feeder in open water right in front of him and his 33lb 4oz was good for third place.
