The turnout was poor for the Daniels Cup at Fittlleworth but given the recent conditions it wasn’t really surprising. Those that did turnout found that the river was still pushing but we thought that with the water level just dropping and not too much colour we might find some fish.
Ray Huskisson was drawn by the bridge and fished the far bank on a small feeder for 1 – 5 – 8 of bits with a couple of decent dace which was enough for 1st place.
Richard Le Duc found 0 – 15 – 0 of bits for second and Kevin Leighfield was just behind him with 0 – 13 – 8.
Fish of the day was definitely Mark Pantling dace of 0 – 7 – 0.
