We had a reasonable turnout at Petworth Park for our last visit on the year. Although the larger fish did not really put in an appearance there were plenty of small fish to be caught.
Mark Pantling is becoming a bit of a small fish expert on the park and is proving himself to be unbeatable in these conditions and an all ‘bits’ net of 11 – 2 – 0 was enough to secure first place.
A little way behind with a total weight of 10 – 0 – 0 which included a couple of nice crucians was Keith Hughes.
Roger Weetman who normally goes for the bigger fish found then difficult to catch but nonetheless had a couple of crucians and one decent bream and was just an ounce behind Keith on 9 – 15 – 0 for third place.
With wins in both legs Mark Pantling took the Daniels Rosebowl with maximum points.
