Match Report

The second leg of the silverfish only D H McCavish Shield was fished at Stemps on a cold day with a biting wind which was blasting straight at some pegs. There had been heavy overnight rain and the temperature was around 6 degrees on match day – all conditions that were detrimental to fishing. The most favoured silverfish pegs were selected but unfortunately no silverfish were caught.

The only fish seen were some carp, which did not count, caught by Keith and Cody on Peg 15.
