Match Report
What a difference a week makes and at last we had some half decent weights from the canal. We decided to fish down from Hunston away from the city and most people managed to put together at least a couple of pounds of bits.
New boy Terry Hunt is obviously taking to the canal, abandoning his feeder tactics of a couple of weeks ago he fished the waggler this time round and put together a very respectable net with a couple of small bream and bits for 8 – 0 – 0 which was good enough for first place.
Vince fished the pole and whip close to the landing stage and put together a good bits net of 6 – 7 – 0 for second place.
Keith Hughes fished the waggler and again had plenty of bits for 3 – 6 – 0 and third place.
Having fished the three match evening series on the canal Vince was first overall with 28 points but special mention should go to newcomer Terry Hunt who was only 2 points behind in second place.
