Match Report

With a large number of carp hooked and lost during the first leg the previous week most anglers stepped up their tackle to stand a better chance of landing them. Unfortunately this could have contributed to them having fewer bites but the changeable weather may also have had an impact.

Veteran match angler John Savage fished a short pole to take several small carp and a few roach for a well deserved win.

Second was last weeks winner Vince Herringshaw, who caught 3 small carp and bits from right up against the island on the pole.

Third was Kevin Leighfield and his bag was once again made up of small carp and bits.

Vince Herringshaw wins the Milliard Cup with a total of 19 points.
