First of all thanks to Vince for running the match in my absence. 8 anglers turned up for the final leg of the Moss Cup at Coultershaw where the Rother was higher and running faster than its normal summer level and highly coloured not good conditions to catch silver fish on the float. This proved to be the case with most of the fish caught being eels on the feeder with only the odd dace caught on the float.
Mike Kitchener made a clean sweep of the evening matches on the Rother catching 5-3-0 of eels on the feeder to win the match.
In second place Vince Herringshaw caught 2 eels and a dace to weigh in 1-0-4.
In third place was Richard Leduc with 0-7-8 of bits.
After the three legs of the Moss Cup Mike Kitchener was the convincing winner with three wins ( 30 points). In second place was Vince Herringshaw with 24 points.
