Match Report

This was the  third of the Stillwater evening matches and was held on the Match Pond at Hurston Lane. Again it was pleasant mild evening with no sign of the rain suffered in the first match. The lake had been stocked with another tranche of small F1s and the tactics were to try and catch the bigger F1s in preference to these.

John Arnold finished in first place fishing peg 10, which has won a lot of matches over the last couple of season. He fished the feeder with pellets to catch 27lb 7oz of the bigger F1s.

For the third week running Graham White was in second place. Fishing the pole on peg 6, using meat and expander pellets, he caught 20lb of bigger F1s and these along with smaller F1s gave him a total weight of 23lb 1oz.

Mick Greenway was in third place fishing peg 12 and used the pole to catch a larger F1 ( on paste) along with just under 4lb of smaller F1s( on meat and expander pellet ) to weigh in 7lb 1oz.

After three rounds Graham has now moved into first place with 27points from Mick (26points) The next evening match is on Stemps.
