Match Report

Having heard of some outstanding pleasure sessions from Petworth Park over the last month or so we had a good turnout for the first match on Petworth Park.

Pegged on the hot swim on the road bank was venue specialist John Ritter and he took full advantage and first place with a good Bream bag of 44lb 8oz.

The Bream were well spread out and were caught all along the road bank but Phil Tubb who was pegged between the corner sluice and the first island was second with 34lb 1oz.

Further along from Phil between the islands was Gary Collins, Gary put together an excellent mixed bag of fish for a 23lb 10oz total and third place.

As well as over 50 good sized bream there were plenty of Roach, Rudd, skimmers and even a decent Eel caught.
