Match Report

First match of the new year, and a good turn out on a bright but misty morning at Stemps, it was good to see Rod and Dave who chose this fish Stemps rather than Long Lake the day before.
Cody made the most of drawing peg 15 and starting on the feeder to the fallen tree opposite had a good Skimmer of 2lb+ and a small Carp within the first 45 minutes. The rest of the match he switched between pole and feeder and picked up a few small silver fish and another 2 better Carp for a total of 14lb 5oz
Keith on peg 14, fished short for the first hour waiting for his ground bait lines to settle and had 40+ Roach. Switching between a long 16m and a shorter 10m ground bait line picked up a good number of Skimmers but only one over a 1lb giving a total weight of 6lb 13oz
Paul on peg 6, alternated between the waggler, feeder and pole and picked up fish for most of the match including some nice Roach around the 8oz mark. A total weight of 5lb 12oz was good for third place.
