We had managed to rearrange this match to Bernies as Cart Pond is still closed and a very cold morning (-4C) greeted us.
After an early morning visit from a hunting Barn Owl we walked down to the lake and found it was frozen solid, So out with the ice breakers and after around 3/4 of an hour we had opened up the needed pegs to around 7m out and 2m wide. A later than published draw saw every one ready in quick time as only one rig was needed to cover the cleared area of water.
Not sure what the day was going to bring everyone started with no or very little bait to see what was going to happen. Things looked up after about 10 minutes with Keith getting a bite and landing a small blade Skimmer quickly followed by a Roach after this everyone got a little braver and added a little bit of feed which saw bites coming for the rest of the match.
