Coultershaw Work Parties – April 2026

In response to a number of members saying that they struggled to get to weekend work parties we decided to try one mid-week, so Wednesday 15th April was decided. We were hoping for a better turnout but those that did come along worked really hard and a lot was done.

Our second April work party was on 26th April and again we were a bit disappointed with the turnout, we were really hoping to see a few more of you to enable us to do more. But again those that did come along did a lot of work.

Across the two work parties steps and posts with ropes were installed in a number of established swims to make access easier.

Chris – the Coultershaw bailiff also got into the water to get some debris out of swims. He is being a bit cagey but said that he got a complete soaking, but won’t let on how!

A big thanks to those that helped out including; Sarah, James, Luke, Peter, Phil and Ian and we hope we might see a few more of you on the next work party which is on Sunday 17th May.
