Ben Sharman was hoping it was one of the specimen Barbel that frequent our stretch of the River Arun at Watersfield when he had a run on one of his brand new hand built rods.

But it was this 6lb+ Bream that christened Ben’s new rod when it picked up his boilie hookbait.

It is a new Arun Bream PB for Ben so he wasn’t too disappointed.
