To mark the 10th Anniversary of the formation of Petworth and Bognor Angling Club we invited members along to an informal get together at Coultershaw. As well as socialising with fellow anglers members were treated to a Barbecue along with liquid refreshments.
Although the turnout was a little disappointing I’m sure there were a few new friendships formed during what turned out to be a very pleasant evening. There was the usual banter about what was caught last season and the anticipation of this new season, nice to hear some positive feedback too.
It was a real pleasure to see two stalwarts of our Club arrive, former Chairman Nigel Chapman and Committee member Ray Huskisson, both have had serious health problems recently but hopefully they are now on the road to recovery.
Special thanks to Stemps Pond Warden Dave Tompkins and his wife Elaine who worked tirelessly to provide us all with food at the barbecue.
