Beware – Wasp Nests – Stemps & Cart

We have two wasps nests at Stemps and Cart.
Nest 1 is beside Peg 3 on Stemps, which we have closed but we would also recommend not fishing pegs 2 & 4 at the moment. This was disturbed when our bailiffs started work on rebuilding Peg 3 and the wasps are very active and aggressive.
Nest 2 is in the tree beside Peg 18 on Cart the wasps here are less active but we would recommend that you do not fish Peg 18 at the moment.
We are getting people in to treat the nests but this is likely to take a few days. In the meantime we would remind you that as always you fish at your own risk and the club cannot be held responsible if you are stung.
We will keep you updated and let you know when the nests have been neutralised.
