Cart Pond Update & Work Party

We now have almost everything in place to start the work seriously on the renovation of Cart Pond.

Stemps & Cart will be closed from the end of Saturday 29th October until further notice, but we hope to be able to re-open Stemps in about a months time once the contractors have finished and are off site. There is strictly no access to the entire site while the contractors are there.

There is still a bit of preliminary work to be done and our bailiffs; Ray, Les & Les are working hard in the background, however they cannot do it all and need some help from our members especially those that fish Stemps & Cart regularly.

There is a Work Party on Sunday 30th October, starting at 08.30 and going on until around lunchtime.

Please make an effort to turn up as the more people we can get there the more work we can do and this in turn potentially means that we can cover a few of the smaller tasks that our contractors are set to do – this means they spend less time on site and therefore we have to pay them less. It might only be a little but it all helps.
