Match Report

Due to some rather frisky cattle in the field on our normal north bank of the Rother at Fittleworth, it was decided that we would fish the south bank instead.

Paul Berry went quite a way down to opposite the big left handed bend, but his long walk paid off as he weighed in 12 – 2 – 0 which included one mirror carp, chub and a few bits.

Staying closer to home, Steve Speller fished about half way down the first straight and had a couple of eels, a reasonable perch and some bits for 2 – 9 – 0 and second place.

Rab was by the bridge and fished a long pole line for dace and one small skimmer for 0 – 15 – 0
