Match Report

We could have turned to any page in the book of excuses for the results of today’s match. It was very wet, very cold with a strong N/E wind and the air pressure had been up and down all week.

Only eight members turned out which is very unusual for this away day but that was also down to the weather. We pegged all around the bowl using the swims with deeper water, after the first two hours only Peg 8 had anything just dobbing bread around the reeds.

As the match went on the odd fish started to come out and by the end everyone had caught.
