Match Report

This was the first very cold day of the winter with a strong Northeasterly wind that swept across the top of the hill. It made for a hard day so the pegging was spread around the whole lake with the thinking a bit of space would help everyone.

Phil fishing with the wind in his face on peg 3 opted for the feeder catching Carp steadily from start to finish, his 42lb 6oz net was good enough for first place.

Keith fishing peg 20 had the wind blowing across from left to right starting on the pole at 9m fishing in around 10′ of water thinking he could build a net of Skimmers with an odd Carp. However,  it was too hard to fish this line in the wind so came in onto the sleeve at around 4m in 5′ feeding corn and started catching Carp. His weight of 37lb 14oz gave him second place

Paul was fishing in peg 27 with the wind on his back fished the pole  and had a nice net of silvers with Chub and Tench along with a few Carp for a total of 30lb 9oz and third place.
