Match Report

The BBQ match on Stemps and Cart is run as a thank you to those that have helped out at work parties over the year. It is also a chance for a bit of friendly rivalry between the match, specimen and pleasure anglers which ensures these is a fair amount of banter throughout the day. Chef Dave was in charge of the food which was consumed with gusto at the conclusion of the match.
Despite the weather both Stemps and Cart were on excellent form. Cart Pond was the domain of Phil Tubb who with his trusty paste tactic produced a winning weight of 28lb10oz from Peg 24. Vince Herringshaw was on peg 19 and despite having fun with carp running round the posts had 22lb 8oz for second place and in third was Mick Greenway with 18lb 5oz.
