Match Report

The BBQ match, which is a thank you for all members who attended work parties, was held on yet another hot, sunny and cloudless day. Stemps and Cart was the venue with the anglers equally split between the two lakes. It was a day for umbrellas just to provide some shade. The water levels in both lakes were low but the fish fed and some good catches were had. We also had a display by the Red Arrows who were flying at Goodwood. Thanks were given to Dave Tomkins who provided an excellent BBQ at the end of the match. This is much appreciated.

Stemps
Gary Collins was fishing on Peg 14 and caught 10carp, weighing 41-8-0, on the feeder to easily win the lake and the match. One of the carp weighed 9lb.

In second place fishing Peg 1 was Steve Pentecost who caught 7 carp on the feeder to weigh in 31-2-0.

Cart
Mick Greenway was fishing Peg 27 and used the long pole fishing either paste or meat to catch 7 carp weighing 18-12-0 to take first place.

In second place was Nelson Keet who fished the feeder to catch 4 carp weighing 9-7-0.
