Match Report

The BBQ match is held every year as a thank you to members who had attended work parties and the anglers were split between Stemps and Cart with the best rated pegs being used. Steve Simmonds, our usual chef, was at a music festival so BBQ duties were taken over by Dave Tomkins who did an excellent job and received thanks from the anglers. Unfortunately I have lost the weight sheets and I have to rely on my memory, hence the weights are not very precise.

On Stemps Mick Greenway (peg14) beat Vince Herringshaw (Peg 15) by a couple of ounces with approximately 22lb of carp.

It was even closer on Cart with Ray Huskisson (Peg 27) beating Nelson Keet by half an ounce.
