Match Report

The second leg of the Caine Cup was fished on Stemps on another warm sunny evening with the highest rated pegs being used for the match. Unfortunately the fish were not cooperative with only a few fish being caught early on. There were also several big fish lost notably by Phil Tubb and Cody Hughes in pegs 14 and 15 respectively.

First place was taken by Mick Greenway fishing peg 1 with 2 carp weighing 7-12-0. Both fish were caught on the long pole with one caught on paste and the other on meat.

There was a draw for second place with two anglers weighing in 4-2-0. Jon Arnold caught a carp and bits on the long pole from peg 2 and Colin Bridger caught 2 carp on the feeder fished to the island.

Mick Greenway won the Caine Cup with 2 wins (20 points) from Jon Arnold with 18 points.
