Match Report

It is always difficult to predict where the fish will come from on Cart, on their day pretty much any peg can provide the winning weight, however Peg 26 is always a favourite.

This proved the case with Keith drawing  Peg 26 and although he had to wait a long time between bites he concentrated mainly on the bigger fish after a brief session on the whip. His 11lb 1oz included a couple of Bream and a couple of Tench to win the match.

John Powis drew Peg 29 and fished hard to the lilies in front of him for 7lb 2oz of mainly better fish to secure second place

Steve Simmonds on Peg 22 fished the first half of the match on bigger baits with very little return. A switch to an inside whip line found some of the slightly better roach for 4lb 8oz and third place.
