5-5-0
Runner Up:  Steve Simmonds
2-2-0
Third:  Graham White
0-9-8

The second leg of Moss Cup was held on the Rother at Shopham on yet another warm, dry and sunny night. As per normal several trout were caught and returned.

In first place was Mick Greenway who fished the swim that Steve Simmonds fished last year – this is 30 yards downstream from the bridge. He first had to do some gardening as the nettles had grown up to mask the path down to the river. He trotted a stick float to catch good sized dace, a chublet and lots of gudgeon to weigh in 5-5-0.

Steve Simmonds was fishing the swim where the Burton Mill stream comes into the river. This is normally the winning swim but it did not fish as well as normal in this match. Steve trotted a float and used a light ledger to catch 2-2-0 of dace and roach.
