Match Report

The hot spell continues – so another hot, sunny and little or no wind Sunday for the 1st leg of the Parfrement Cup at Petworth Park. Not ideal conditions for bream but a few were caught. Two anglers were placed at either end of the first island with the rest along the roadside bank.

First place was taken by Gary Collins who was fishing just past the bush on the roadside bank. He used a feeder and various types of pellets to catch 10 bream weighing 36-8-0

Mick Greenway was in second place and he was fishing the first peg on the island. He caught a tench, a skimmer and a 2-6-0 crucial on expander pellet on the pole. He used a feeder to catch 2 bream to total 14-12-8.

John Ritter was fishing the peg before Gary and caught 4 bream weighing 9-13-8 on the feeder to take third place.
