Match Report

The third leg of the Pibworth Cup was fished at the Granary on another warm dry and sunny evening. There were a lot of carp moving around in the middle of the lake but several were tempted to feed in the margins. All the anglers were pegged along the Golf Course side of the lake where the bailiff had done a good clearing a lot of brambles and roots from the swims.

In first place, fishing meat on the long pole, was Mike Kitchener who caught rudd and 7 carp weighing 31-4-4 including one weighing 13-2-0.

Cody Hughes, fishing meat on his whip, caught rudd and 2 carp to weigh in 12-5-0 and take second place.

In third place, Keith Hughes also used meat on the long pole to catch rudd and carp to weigh in 10-12-8

After three legs of the Pibworth Cup Mike Kitchener (29 points) leads from Mick Greenway (25points).
