Nine anglers turned up on yet another mild day. It did start drizzling at the beginning but not sufficient to warrant the use of a brolly. Five pegs were put in on the stream side with the remaining 4 pegs on the road side. The catches were mainly made up of carp along with the odd bream and again there was a noticeable absence of small fish.  John and Chris again struggled and left early for the pub but the others stuck it out until the end of the match. In first place, fishing the inset swim on the road side was Keith Hughes who caught a tench and carp from the main track. This coupled with two further carp caught close to the island weighed 11-8-12. All the fish were caught on the long pole.

Ray Huskission was fishing on the last swim on the road side but had to move slightly to his right as the bank was like a swamp . Ray fished the groundbait feeder using maggot on the hook to catch 4 bream weighing 11-0-0 and take second place

Ray found some of the new bream for second place

Fishing on the second platform on the stream side was Vince Herringshaw who fished the long pole over the remnants of the lily pads to take one skimmer and one bream on maggot fishing over micro pellets.

Keith Hughes was the convincing winner of the Presidents Cup having won both legs.
