Match Report

This match was the third and final leg of Presidents Cup and was held on Passies Main Lake. It was back to normal Passies weather with a gusty south west wind and occasional rain, with heavier rain coming when we were weighing in and packing up. Fortunately the wind and rain was not as forecast earlier in the week and the anglers were reasonably sheltered by the hedge separating the Match and Main Lakes. The anglers were pegged from the pylon along part of the Eastern and Southern banks.

In first place fishing maggot over groundbait on the long pole was Mike Kitchener with 27-11-0 of bream, skimmers and perch.

Fishing next to him was Mick Greenway who caught 2 bream and a skimmer on a hybrid feeder along with 2 further bream and skimmers fishing pellets over groundbait on the long pole, these weighed 15-1-8.

Paul Ward was fishing the other side of Kitch and he used the long pole and fished maggots and pellets over groundbait to catch bream, skimmers and perch weighing 13-6-0.
