This match was the third leg of the Presidents trophy and was a silverfish/carp match and was held on the bunker straight of the Match Lake at Passies. There had been an overnight frost but the venue fished well with good catches of carp and silverfish. The cold wind was from the North West and the anglers were protected from this by the hedge on the far side. The match started under sunny conditions but it soon clouded over with the odd drop of rain.

Carp Match
Tony Carr was fishing the far end peg of the bunker straight and used the pole and feeder to catch 47-6-8 of carp to easily win this part of the match.

In second place was Glen Riley who was fishing two pegs back from Tony and caught 27-5-8 of carp.
