This match was the second leg of the Ranson trophy and was originally scheduled for Hurston Match Lake but with this being closed it was moved, like the first leg, to the bunker straight of Passies Match Lake. Unlike the first leg the match was fished in dry conditions but there was a cold North wind blowing but we were sheltered from this by the bushes on the far bank. The twelve anglers who fished were mainly pegged along the straight with three anglers pegged around the corner. Again the catches consisted of F1s and carp with approximately 220 pounds of fish being caught in total. Steve Simmonds entertained the anglers near him with flying feeders and a top three kit getting stuck on the far bank resulting in a trip round to it to free it.

In first place was Phil Tubb who was fishing the same swim as he had in the first leg but increased his weight to 56-5-4. This consisted of F1s caught in the main track on the pole using pellet fished over pellet along with larger carp caught in the margins on paste.

Mike Kitchener was on the end peg by the bridge and took second place weighing in 40-13-4 of F1s, carp and skimmers. He caught the odd carp on the feeder but the majority of his fish were caught 2/3rds of the way across the main track, on the pole using pellet as bait.

Vince Herringshaw was fishing next to Kitch and used similar tactics to weigh in 24-15-4 and take third place.

Overall the Series finished as a tie with both Phil Tubb and Paul Ward having 17 points with Phil taking the trophy by virtue of having the heavy total weight.
