Match Report
The temperature in the week before the match had been up and down with heavy rain, from Storm Angus, the night before the match. It was decided to not use the corner pegs to try and even things out under these conditions. However hopes were not high although Mick Greenway had two bites in the first half hour and managed to land one carp. However the other anglers had to wait longer for their fish. It was good to welcome Jack Halford to his first match with the Club but unfortunately he found the going hard and did not have a bite.
Fishing Peg 6 was Vince Herringshaw who caught 1 bream and 5 carp on the long pole using maggot to weigh in 22-4-12.
In second place Keith Hughes, fishing Peg 3, who landed 3 carp weighing 9-4-4 on the long pole. He hooked several others which he lost in the reeds.

Mick Greenway caught one carp on bread punch in the first half hour and then had to wait until the last half hour to have another bite which was from a small perch. The carp and perch totalled 3-13-4.
