Match Report

This was the second match of the Stillwater evening series and was held on Hurston Middle Pond. The evening was warm and sunny, so much so that you didn’t need to put on a hoodie until close to 8pm. Some of the Wednesday work party team had spent the morning clearing the weed out of the lake to create some fishable swims – thanks. Unfortunately the disturbance did not spark the fish into feeding and the fishing was very slow
In first place, fishing peg 4 was Jon Arnold who used the feeder to catch a bream and carp weighing 6-6-0 to easily win the match.
Mick Greenway was second fishing peg 5 and used paste on the pole to catch a carp weighing 2-14.
In third place was Gary Collins ( peg 3) who caught a bream weighing 1-12-0 on the pole.
After two rounds of this series Mick (19 points) leads from Jon with 18 points.
