Match Report

This was the fifth and final match of the Stillwater evening series and was held on Stemps Pond and once again the match was held on a warm and sunny evening. Unfortunately four members had not read their handbook as they were fishing the Pond when the anglers arrived, which was well within the 3 hours anglers should have vacated the lake.

In first place was Gary Collins, fishing peg 6 and won the match weighing in 31-1-0 of carp.He started out fishing the feeder across to the island and then moved over to fish paste on the pole.

Mick Greenway was second fishing peg 9 and weighed in 27-10-0 again of carp. He, like Gary, started out on the feeder but lost several fish on the brambles under the water. He then switched to fishing paste on the pole. He started out fishing in the margins but found that there was a lot of rubbish and underwater brambles there- so he fished a top kits length out from the platform.

After the five rounds of the Stillwater evening series Gary was the winner with 47 points from Mick with 46 points.
