Match Report

Again Stemps pond was the venue for today’s outing and after it being a little warmer leading up to the match the pond was ice free this time but the forecast was for a cool day with a maximum of 4 degrees and it did feel cold with no sun and a gentle breeze. At the draw nobody drew the same peg as last week apart from Keith who again got Peg 1.
At the start about half the field started fishing the bomb to the island with the others going for the long pole apart from Keith using what he had his success with the week before so he started short dobbing bread.

After about 1/4 hour all but one had put a Carp in the net and the first hour continued to fish alright but it then got slower and slower apart from Keith on Peg 1 who was getting a bite every put in and again was running away with it.
