Match Report
Hurston Match Pond was the venue for this week’s match but the forecast for heavy rain and very strong wind kept a few away. We therefore had lots of space to play with so spaced the pegs the whole way around the lake. Combining that with some new stock going in over the past week meant we all felt we had a chance of a few bites. Not long after the all in rain started and never stopped for the whole match and along with the wind it felt like the coldest day we had fished all winter. As for the fishing it was very slow and we think this was down to the fact it was very hard to present anything nicely.
Graham won from Peg 7, Keith was second from Peg 10 and Gary and Mark were equal third from Pegs 1 & 8 respectively.
We did not get the camera out as the conditions were so foul we wanted to pack up and get into the warm as quickly as possible.
